Questions

Straight answers.

No hype and no fine-print games. Here is exactly how Pareto Zone works, what it asks of you, and what happens after you register.

01 / 04 · The guarantee

How exactly does the refund work?

Hit 80% compliance over your 12 weeks. If your monthly test doesn't show your heart beating at least three beats per minute slower at the same locked pace, you email us and we refund every penny. The measurement decides, so there is nothing to argue about.

What counts as 80% compliance?

Completing the sessions the app schedules for you. Weeks you genuinely can't train are paused, not counted against you, so a holiday or a bout of flu won't cost you the guarantee.

02 / 04 · Time and commitment

Why is it called Pareto Zone?

The Pareto principle, the 80/20 rule, says most of the result comes from a small slice of the effort. That's how we train. A short dose of higher-intensity work delivers the biggest return on your time for VO2 max and longevity, and we layer in easier Zone 2 to round it out when your schedule allows. The Pareto Zone is that high-return effort: maximum impact from the time you've actually got.

Is it really only two sessions a week?

Yes. Two guided sessions of about 38 minutes, plus one short steady-state test a month. That's the whole prescription. The point of the method is that the right work beats more work.

What if I travel or get sick?

Use the dead-week pause. Weeks you can't train don't count against your compliance, and your 12 weeks stretch to fit. The guarantee is built around real life, not a perfect calendar.

03 / 04 · Equipment and modality

What equipment do I actually need?

A heart-rate monitor, a Garmin or a chest strap, so the proof is real. For the monthly test you'll need a treadmill, because a fixed speed and grade is what makes the measurement repeatable. The two weekly sessions need nothing but your heart rate.

Can I train outdoors, or what if running hurts my knees?

The two weekly sessions are paced by heart rate, so you can do them outside, on a treadmill, a bike, or a rower, whatever is kind to your joints. The one piece that stays on a treadmill is the monthly test, and for many people that's a brisk incline walk rather than a run.

04 / 04 · Trust and next steps

What data do you collect, and who sees it?

Your heart-rate and session data sync to your private account so the app can compute your trends and settle the guarantee. It's yours. We don't sell it and we don't share it.

What does it cost?

We're opening a small founding cohort by application, so we share pricing with the people we invite once we've checked it's a fit. Register your interest and we'll be in touch.

What happens after I register interest?

We read every registration, check it's a genuine fit (the guarantee only works if you can actually comply), and reply by email. If it's a fit, you're in the next founding cohort.
